How much do you charge?
An initial consultation for a couple lasting one hour and fifteen minutes costs £80 to be paid for at the end of the session. A consultation for an individual is £70 and lasts an hour. I would hope that by the end of a consultation we can reach a mutual decision whether we wish to work together.
If we decide to work together I like clients to commit themselves to six consecutive sessions initially after which a further decision can be made about whether to continue. All sessions after the consultation cost £75 for a couple, individual sessions cost £60 and last for fifty minutes. Sessions take place place at the same time and venue every week.
I am also able to be flexible if people have prior work commitments which preclude attending regular therapy sessions.
I work out of my practice address in High Street, Seaford, just off Broad Street. Parking in the High Street may occasionally be difficult but you can usually find a place round the corner in Broad Street, East Street or with no parking restrictions in Mercread Road.
Do we both need to come?
Yes, I work with both members of the couple in the room - that way they can both agree or not with what is said. Seeing how you interact in real life is crucial. As I now also work online it is possible to work with people in separate locations, however, my personal preference is to work with people in the same space even if it is on line.
How confidential is what we say?
Everything said is completely confidential, the only exceptions being those required by the BACP Code of Ethics which I will talk about at the consultation meeting.
What happens when I make contact?
My practice mobile number and email are on every page, see right. I will return your call as soon as I am able. I can answer any questions you may have and at this stage there is no obligation on your part to make an appointment. However, should you wish to proceed we can arrange a time that is mutually convenient. You should bring your fee to the first consultation or I can give you my bank details.
Thereafter, I will send you an invoice at the end of each month and you can transfer payment to my bank account.
